Lady and The Tramp

This is what Ansley and Rufus do with plain spaghetti noodles. I'm not even sure what to say about this.

Message In A Bottle

When we were in Florida for Thanksgiving, Zack threw out a message in a bottle and guess what? Today he received a big box full of goodies from the folks that found it. The two guys, and one little girl, that found the bottle found it not too far away from where we threw it, but they were thrilled. They sent a letter to Zack saying they had never found nor heard of anyone actually finding a message in a bottle. They said they posted about it on the South Walton message board and that Zack had become a celebrity!!! All the locals are waiting to hear back. I took these pictures and am going to send them to the people.

These are two bottles. One was filled with sand and one was filled with water that had leaked out.
They sent information about sea turtles.

They sent back the original bottle.

Zack reading the letter.
They also sent local stickers and information about the area.

It was really cool that these folks took the time to send all this to him!

The Neighborhood Is Going to Hell

I kid you not, this is what Gary saw on his way to work, in the heart of Dunwoody. Not believing him I went and had a look for myself and sure enough here is the Chevy Caprice, sitting up on blocks, with all the rims stolen. Great.

Blast From The Past

The past week has been a flurry of activity on Facebook. For some of you, Facebook is a social networking site that you can sign up for, post some information about yourself, and the next thing you know people you know or have known start finding you or you them. You're able to search from your address book, through Classmates, or by name. This week the Campbell High School class of 1983 has exploded. I have either been found or have found a ton of old classmates. It's great to see everyone and catch up and what's amazing is basically most look the same minus the horrible 80's hair! So, to the Class of 83- you all rule!

Oh, My Lord

It's getting worse. Now the whole fireplace is leaking. You can see the water running out of the stone!!!!! The water is so bad it has run off the hearth and under the rug. HELP! This is ridiculous. I'm going to need an ark soon.

Huh?

Today, while in Zack's class to stuff VIP's, I heard the screamer teacher yell again at the kids and then I heard something so unbelievable I still can't believe it.

A little girl was asking her when 9/11 happened and she looked at me and asked "it was 2004, right?"

WHAT?????

This is the woman teaching my child?
